Summary:

Ray Graham Association is currently looking for a Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Technician to maintain 30+ properties owned and operated by RGA throughout DuPage County. RGA Building Maintenance Technician provides skilled preventive building maintenance and responds to maintenance requests. The building Maintenance Technician will have specific skills to complete necessary repairs including commercial/household repairs, expertise in some or all of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and carpentry work under the weekly maintenance schedule. Tasks will include management and assistance of pick up/delivery of Association property, emergency janitorial functions, event set up and special projects that include building renovation, concrete work, wall repair and painting and internal moves.

Some of their typical daily duties include:

• Responsible for quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Checking and responding to security and safety issues
• Testing and recommending new maintenance products
• Responsible for landscaping and pest control of assigned properties
• Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
• Training and directing less experienced staff, if applicable

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• 5-7 years of job-related experience preferred.
• Must be available for overtime if needed.
• On-call on a rotating basis
• Must have own vehicle and tools.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 - 4:00

Wages: $25-$30 per hour.
